  1. There are two possibilites when the 10 is led.  It 
  2. is either the top of a sequence, or it promises 
  3. the jack and either the ace or king.
  4.  
  5. If the jack is visible, or both the ace and king 
  6. are visible, it promises the top of a sequence.*
  7.  
  8. When it is the top of a sequence: 
  9. 1.  If I can beat dummy or force declarer to play
  10. high, I play a high card. However, I do not play 
  11. the king if the jack remains in dummy (declarer 
  12. has both ace and queen).
  13. 2.  If dummy plays the ace, I make a positive 
  14. signal if I hold the king.  
  15. 3.  Otherwise I play low.
  16. *When in doubt I assume that it promises the jack
  17. and either the ace or king.
